They are frequently preferred surgical operations to improve the sagging breast area aesthetically and functionally.

Breast Lift

Sagging can be observed in the breast area due to rapid weight gain and loss, pregnancy, breastfeeding or genetic factors. In order to aesthetically and functionally improve the sagging breast area due to such factors, breast lift surgery is one of the most preferred surgical operations.

In breast lift surgery, excess breast and skin tissue is removed from the area, and the breast has an upright and aesthetically improved appearance. In small and saggy breasts, lifting can also be performed with implant support.

How is Breast Lift Surgery Performed?

Breast lift surgery, which takes an average of 2 hours, is performed under general anaesthesia. With small incisions opened in the breast area, excess fat and skin tissue are removed from the area, and the breast is given a new and upright form. In breasts with asymmetry, a symmetrical appearance is achieved. In lifting surgeries, implants can also be used if the patient has small breasts. The need for implants is decided in preoperative consultations with the doctor.

At the end of the operation, the incisions are closed and the patient is dressed in a protective corset. The patient is then placed in her room to rest. After breast lift surgery, the patient is hospitalised overnight. During this process, she is checked by her doctor. The next day, she can return to her hotel/home. It is quite normal to observe oedema in the operation area for the first few days after the operation. In this process, the patient should take care to rest and follow the doctor's recommendations.

DAY 5-14.

Routine controls of the patient are performed in the first week after the operation. In this process, oedema and bruises have started to decrease. At the end of the 7th-10th day, the patient can return home if he/she lives abroad or outside the city. On the 10th-14th days, the patient can take small walks provided that he/she does not tire himself/herself and can return to his/her daily life.

1ST - 6TH MONTH

In the 1st-6th month after breast lift surgery, the healing process progresses rapidly. For 1 month, the corset recommended by the doctor should be continued. The region has largely completed the healing at the end of the 2nd month. After the 2nd month, the patient can return to non-heavy sports activities with the permission of his doctor. The patient's monthly controls continue to be carried out with the visuals sent via Whatsapp. The doctor may recommend cream/medication to the patient if deemed necessary.

1 YEAR

The 1st year after the breast lift operation, healing is completed, the sensitivity felt in the operation area and the scars of the operation are minimised. Online doctor controls continue in this process.
